Thursday morning, 6.20am and we’re off to Blackpool. 6.20am!!! My mate had suggested an early start and because several bands I wanted to see had helpfully been put on at Thursday lunch time I’ve agreed. So after 3 hours sleep we’re off yet again to what the Observer recently described as “one of the most trouble-free, peaceful and family-orientated music festivals in the world”.
